Prices of lettuce

The effects of adverse weather are still visible on the market. It concerns also lettuces. Their supply in some regions of Poland (especially in the south) are very low and prices are higher. On Wednesday, June 23 prices of butterhead lettuce were following: from 16 PLN (3.91 €)/16 pcs. in wielkopolskie province (west of Poland), 20-24 PLN (4.90-5.87 €)/16 pcs. in the centre (mazowieckie and łódzkie provinces) 24-25 PLN (5.87-6.11 €)/16 pcs in lubelskie (east) and świętokrzyskie provinces. In the south in małopolskie province the price of lettuce was from 24 PLN (5.87)/16 pcs. and reached even 30 PLN (7.33 €)/pcs.
