Prices of pears

In mazowieckie province in trading companies providing supermarkets with pears prices of Favorit variety are 0.74 – 0.80 EUR/kg for pears in cardboard boxes of 18 kg.

Prices on wholesale markets are higher and e.g. in Poznań price of Favorit in cardboard boxes of 18 kg is to 1.12 zloty/kg. The Polish Central Statistical Office (GUS) estimated this year’s harvests of pears at 68 thousand ton i.e. by 122 percent more than last year.
