Prices of root vegetables still stable

Prices of root vegetables did not change significantly week-on-week. The weather is improving and as a result logistic and trade are easier. However it does not influence prices, which are still high.
On Tuesday, February 23 price of good quality washed carrot was 0.85 – 1.00 PLN (0.21-0.25 €)/kg, the price of washed beets was 0.65 – 0.70 PLN (0.16-0.18 €)/kg and the price of washed celeriac was 1.20 PLN (0.30 €)/kg (in the south of Poland even 1.60 PLN (0.40 €)/kg). Price of parsley also remained high: 3.50 – 4.20 PLN (0.88-1.06 €)/kg depending on the region.
