Prices of sweet pepper in Moscow

At the beginning of last week on the Moscow market one could observe fluctuation in prices of sweet pepper, both domestic and imported.

Due to growing supply of Russian field pepper its price decreased from 35-40 (0.89-1.02 euro) to 27-32 rubles (0.69-0.82 euros)/kg. At the same time due to insufficient supply of pepper in the entire Europe prices of pepper imported from Holland and Belgium increased from 125-135 rubles (3.20-3.45 euro) to 135-150 rubles (3.45-3.84 euro)/kg for colour pepper and from 110-120 rubles (2.81-3.07 euro) to 140-150 rubles (3.58-3.84 euro)/kg for red pepper.
