Production of cauliflowers in Poland

According to Polish Central Statistic Office (GUS) in years 2005-2009 the biggest production area of cauliflowers in Poland was in 2006 (11.6 thousand ha) and the smallest in 2008 (10.5 thousand ha). As regards harvest the lowest was in 2005 (204.3 thousand t) and the highest in 2007 (227.8 thousand t). In 2009 production of cauliflowers was 225.3 thousand t, 2 % more than in 2008.

The biggest production areas of cauliflowers are in south and central Poland in provinces: małopolskie (20 % of area and 25 % of production), lubelskie (18 % and 15 %), mazowieckie (16 % and 14 %) and łódzkie (9 % and 10 %).
