Profitable cauliflowers for processing

Production cost calculation conducted by Horticultural Economics Department of IAFE-NRI (ZEO-IERiGŻ-PIB) shows that domestic production of cauliflowers for processing (divided into pieces) was profitable in years 2004-2007.

Index of production profitability (producer price / total cost of production x 100%) ranged from 114 to 130 %. The highest index 130 % - showing that prices obtained were higher than total production cost by 30 % - was reached in 2007.
