Protests of Polish fruit producers

Both television and trade electronic media more and more often inform about the situation of Polish fruit producers. On Saturday, July 12th media reported about the protest of fruit producers in lubelskie region.

Producers from this region are protesting against low purchase prices of black currants and sour cherries. Suspending harvests is a form of protest. We are reminding that average purchase price of black currants according to our information is 0.59 EUR/kg and sour cherries 0.37 EUR/kg.
