Red apples in bigger demand

Compared to the beginning of the year, when Golden Delicious and Mutsu were in big demand, now red apples such as Shampion, Gloster, Jonagold and Ligol are in bigger demand, both apples from ordinary stores as well as from cold stores.

In the area of Grójec the purchase price (producer) of Gloster, Shampion and Jonagold (size 70 + and 75 +) from ordinary stores is 0.60 – 0.65 PLN (0.15-0.16 €)/kg.

In the area of Lublin the price of Shampion, size 70 + is 0.55 PLN (0.13 €)/kg.

Apples from cold stores, both in the area of Sandomierz and Grójec are bought from producers at the price of 0.70 PLN (0.17 €)/kg for apples size 70 + and 0.80 PLN (0.19 €)/kg for apples size 80 +.

The purchase price of Ligol size 80 + is 0.80 – 0.90 PLN (0.20-0.22 €)/kg.
