Rising prices for kiwifruit in Moscow

On the Moscow market at the beginning of the last week prices of kiwifruit imported from Greece increased because of coming holidays. The demand for this product was quite high, and supply was insufficient. At the end of November prices of kiwi increased from 45-50 rubles (1.10-1.23 euros) to 50-55 rubles (1,23-1,35 euros) per kg and last week further to 60-65 rubles (1.47-1.59 euros) per kg.
Greece is one of the major supplier of kiwi fruit to Russia.
