Stable price of pears on the biggest wholesale market in Poland

On the biggest wholesale market in Poland – Bronisze near Warsaw – the supply of domestic pears is low. Some producers offer the last pears from CA or already overripe fruit from ordinary cold stores.
The price of good quality Conference from CA is 70-90 PLN (17.72-22.78 euro)/box 15 kg, and the price of fruit from ordinary cold stores is 50 PLN (12.66 euro)/box. Smaller Conference costs 40-60 PLN (10.13-15.19 euro)/box.
The supply of imported pears, by contrast, is much higher. The price of conference imported from Holland is 52-58 PLN (13.16-14.68 euro)/12 kg. Pears from Argentina also appeared on the market and their price is 45-50 PLN (11.39-12.66 euro)/10 kg.
