Stable prices of domestic vegetables

The beginning of February didn't bring changes in prices of domestic vegetables. Prices remained stable because trade condition kept steady due to still difficult winter weather and stable demand.
 
The supply of domestic onion is still very low. On Monday, February 1, its price was 1.00 PLN (0.25 €)/kg, while the price of imported onion was 1.00 – 1.30 PLN (0.25-0.32 €)/kg.
 
Prices of washed domestic carrot also remained stable. On Monday, the price of good quality carrot was  0.80 – 1.00 PLN (0.20-0.25 €)/kg (domestic) and 1.00 – 1.20 PLN (0.25-0.30 €)/kg (imported).

Prices of the white cabbage were at the level 0.60 – 0.80 PLN (0.15-0.20 €)/kg depending on the area of Poland.
Prices of other vegetables also remained stable. Prices of parsley were 2.50 – 3.50 PLN (0.62-0.87 €)/kg and washed celeriac - from 1.00 up to 1.40 PLN (0.25-0.35 €)/kg. Depending on the area prices of beets was  0.50 – 0.70 PLN (0.12-0.17 €)/kg.
 
However one can expect growth in prices of some vegetables due to further decrease in their supply.
