Stable prices of pears

On Wednesday, October 22nd prices of pears of Lucas variety were at the level of 0.51 - 0.54 euro/kg (package included), Conference variety 0.57 euro/kg (also with the package).

Such price level one can observe for long time, also supply of these fruits is stable. It is worthwhile reminding that according to the Central Statistic Office (GUS) this year crop of pears was at the level of 68 thousand tons i.e. 222.3% of the level of the last year which was very weak, as at the same time this year crop is only 86.1% of average crops of 2001 - 2005.
