Stock of apple juice concentrate

This year producers of apples can be worried about level of the purchase price of apples for processing. According to the information of processing plants stock of apple juice concentrate of the previous season can reach even a record level of the 40 thousand tons.

Drought, and then intense rain caused that apples were affected by scab, what in consequence can cause that big volumes of apples will sell to processing plants. Moreover according to forecast prepared by IERiGŻ-PIB total crops of apples may reach record level 2.4 – 2.5 million tons what can result in oversupply. There will be probably problems with selling apples for processing at profitable prices. According to forecast prepared by IERiGŻ-PIB price will be lower than 0.12 EUR/kg.
