Strawberries prices decrease

Strawberries are getting cheaper, both dessert ones as well as these ones for processing. Purchase price of dessert strawberries decreased from 0.83 last week to 0.79 EUR/kg this week.

This week processing plants are paying about 0.03 EUR/kg less, e.g. in kujawsko-pomorskie province prices of strawberries without stalk and calyx decreased from 0.89 – 0.97 EUR/kg to 0.86 – 0.95 EUR/kg, in lubelskie province from 0.89 – 0.98 EUR/kg to 0.89 – 0.92 EUR/kg and in mazowieckie province from 0.91 EUR/kg to 0.88 - 0.89 EUR/kg.
