Sweet pepper on Polish market

At the moment on the Polish market there are red sweet peppers from Turkey, Spain and Israel.

Last week on the wholesale markets the prices of red pepper below 70+ were as follows: 8.40 PLN (1.91 euro)/kg in Poznań, 8.30 (1.89 euro)/kg in Lublin and 8.50 PLN (1.93 euro)/kg in Elbląg. In the first half of January prices of sweet peppers had an upward trend. The import of red sweet pepper between January and June 2009 will probably amount to about 6.4 thousand t.
