The cherry purchase almost finished

Cherry season has virtually come to an end. Almost all growers have finished harvesting and the purchase of good quality cherries for freezing ended at the beginning of this week.  

The purchase of cherries hasn’t finished completely. Processing plants are still interested in pressing cherries. Therefore, traders still buy this kind of cherries,  especially in the neighborhood of Grójec, where supply of cherries was the highest in this season.

Nowadays price of so called PW cherries is 2.00 to 2.10 zł (0,50 – 0,55 eur) / kg and this price level is expected to remain until the end of the season according to the traders.
