Tomatoes: wholesale prices barrier for demand

As we expected prices of tomatoes are still growing. On Friday, October 3rd wholesale prices of tomatoes of BB size reached the level of 5.85 – 6.14 EUR/box.

Such price is already high enough, that it is the barrier for buyers. The demand for tomatoes is quite big both in the country and abroad, but present prices are discouraging the majority interested buyers.
