There is holiday on Thursday so according to Polish legislation trade is forbidden, higher turnover on Tuesday, May 20th. Yesterday prices of early cabbages increased by 0.06 – 0.09 EUR/piece.
Demand for Chinese cabbages increased and there is lack of this product as we note the end of supplies from greenhouses. Prices of cucumbers slightly increased by about 0.03 - 0.06 EUR/kg. Wholesale prices of tomatoes decreased by about 0.03 EUR/kg. It is high time for early vegetables. At the markets there is high supply of radish and onions with leaves. Traders are looking for early domestic potatoes and strawberries.
