Turkish grapefruit most popular

During first two months of 2008 Poland imported 6 000 tons of grapefruit valued at 4.3 million EUR. On the Polish market grapefruit from Turkey, USA and Spain are the most popular.

Turkey delivered 2 300 tons valued at 1.4 million EUR, USA 1 300 tons valued at 1.1 million EUR and Spain 1 100 tons valued 0.8 million EUR. It was over 2 000 tons less and 600 thousand EUR less in value in comparison with the same period of last year.
