Upward trend in prices of tomatoes

Prices of tomatoes had been decreasing for a few weeks. However now one can observe different trend due to clear decrease in supply of imported tomatoes and still not enough supply of domestic tomatoes. Lower supply of imported tomatoes was observed already last week and, of course, it resulted in an increase in their prices and in consequence rise in prices of Polish tomatoes. On Tuesday, March 30, the prices of Polish tomatoes were as follows: 60 - 65 PLN (15.46-15.75 €)/6 kg for tomatoes size B, 70 - 75 PLN (18.04-19.33 €)/6 kg for tomatoes BB and BBB.
