Value of exported deep-frozen strawberries

According to Foreign Agricultural Markets Monitoring Unit (FAMMU/FAPA), this year's value of export of deep-frozen strawberries, in the period January – June, was higher by 10% than last year, in spite of the volume of exported strawberries fell by 27%.

It was caused by great increase in prices of deep frozen fruits, among others strawberries. The biggest recipients of Polish deep-frozen strawberries are as follows: Germany (13.4 thousand ton), the Netherlands (5.7 thousand ton) and France (about 4 thousand ton).
