The price of apples for processing again increased last week. Near Grójec and Warka prices of industrial apples reached 0.82-0.85 PLN (0.207-0.215 euro)/kg. Near Sandomierz prices of such apples were from 0.75 to 0.80 PLN (0.19-0.202 euro)/kg. Near Lublin price was 0.84-0.85 PLN (0.213-0.215 euro)/kg. In wielkopolskie province price of industrial apples was 0.82 PLN (0.207 euro)/kg.
The purchase prices of eating apples for export remained stable. Prices of apples of such varieties like Cortland, Shampion, Gloster, Ligol or Jonagored were 1.00-1.20 PLN (0.25-0.30)/kg for size 60+/65+, 1.30-1.40 PLN (0.33-0.35 euro)/kg for size 70+, 1.40-1.50 PLN (0.35-0.38 euro)/kg for 75 + and 1.60-1.70 PLN (0.43 euro)/kg for size 80 +.
The purchase price of pears slightly increased last week. The price of Conference was from 2.00 (0.50 euro)/kg for size 50+ to 2.50-2.70 PLN (0.63-0.68 euro)/kg for size 65+. Price of Lucas was 2.00-2.20 PLN (0.50-0.56 euro)/kg for size 55+/60+ and 2.50 PLN (0.63 euro)/kg for 65 +.
Spanish peaches are almost finished and their quality is poor, what influences prices. Last week price of peaches was from 16 to 20 PLN (4.05-5.06 euro)/10 kg. Prices of nectarines remained high at the level 38 PLN (9.62 euro)/kg.
Price of table grapes imported from Italy was from 38 to 45 PLN (9.62-11.33 euro)/7 kg for white grapes and from 35 to 40 PLN (8.81-10.13 euro)/7 kg for black grapes. Price of white seedless grapes imported from Turkey was stable at the level 6.00-7.00 PLN (1.51-1.76 euro)/kg.
Price of oranges imported from South Africa was around 4.00 PLN (1.00 euro)/kg. Price of Spanish oranges was 4.00-4.20 PLN (1.00-1.06 euro)/kg. The price of grapefruit imported from Israel was 4.69 PLN (1.18 euro)/kg. Prices of lemons from Spain slightly decreased to 3.80-4.00 PLN (0.96-1.00 euro)/kg. Prices of lemons from Turkey were much lower – 3.00-3.20 PLN (0.76-0.81 euro)/kg. Prices of mandarins from Spain were 3.50-5.00 PLN (0.88-1.26 euro)/kg depending on size and quality.
Prices of bananas imported from Ecuador slightly increased to 2.78-3.56 PLN (0.70-0.90 euro)/kg depending on brand.
