Last week prices of apples for processing again increased. Near Sandomierz they reached 0.55 PLN (0.139 euro)/kg, near Lublin – 0.54-0.58 PLN (0.138-0.147 euro)/kg. On Monday, September 29 price of industrial apples near Grojec was 0.50-0.52 PLN (0.126-0.132 euro)/kg but at the end of the week they reached 0.60 PLN (0.152 euro)/kg.
The purchase prices of eating apples remained stable. Prices of apples of such varieties like Lobo, Cortland, Shampion, were 0.75-0.80 PLN (0.19-0.20 euro)/kg for size 60-70, 0.80-1.00 PLN (0.20-0.25 euro)/kg for size 60+/65+, 1.20-1.40 PLN (0.30-0.35 euro)/kg for size 70+ and 1.50 PLN (0.38 euro)/kg for size 75 +. Some trading companies started purchasing Ligol and Gloster at the same price what Lobo or Shampion. The price of Gala was from 1.40 PLN (0.35 euro)/kg for 60+ to 1.80 PLN (0.45 euro)/kg for 70+.
The purchase price of pears was from 2.00 PLN (0.50 euro)/kg for fruit less than 65mm to 3.00 PLN (0.75 euro)/kg for fruit 65 +.
The purchase of plums finished last week. Chokeberries for processing were still purchasing last week. Their price was from 0.75-0.85 PLN (0.19-0.21 euro)/kg to 1.00 PLN (0.25 euro)/kg for organic fruit.
The purchase prices of raspberries was stable. In mazowieckie province fluctuated from 3.40 to 3.80 PLN (0.86-0.96 euro)/kg and in lubelskie province form 3.50 to 3.80 PLN (0.87-0.96 euro)/kg.
Price of imported peaches and nectarines was from 28 to 30 PLN (7.05-7.56 euro)/10 kg.
Price of table grapes imported from Italy was from 25 do 30 PLN (6.33-7.59 euro)/7 kg for white grapes and from 35 to 40 PLN (8.86-10.13 euro)/7 kg for black grapes. Price of white seedless grapes was 6.00-7.00 PLN (1.51-1.77 euro)/kg.
Price of oranges and grapefruit imported from RSA remained stable - 3.47 PLN (0.87 euro)/kg and 4.12 PLN (1.04 euro)/kg respectively. Price of lemon imported from Argentina was around 5.56 PLN (1.41 euro)/kg. Price of lemons from Chile was 5.59-5.88 PLN (1.41-1.49 euro)/kg and price of Turkish lemons was 5.50 PLN (1.39 euro)/kg. Price of bananas imported from Ecuador again decreased to 2.89 PLN (0.73 euro)/kg
