What prices of dessert apples?

This year a great decline in purchase prices of dessert apples is expected. According to forecast prepared by IERiGŻ-PIB prices can decrease to about 0.39 EUR/kg i.e. by 40 % less than in 2007.

Total crops of apples can reach the level of 2.4 million tons while in 2007 it was 1.04 million tons. Many apples will probably be sold for processing because of the scab.
