White cabbage: low supply, growing prices

The supply of domestic white cabbage is still low and its prices are growing. On Thursday, December 9, producers price of white cabbage reached 0.95-1.10 PLN (0.23-0.27 euro)/kg. Although prices are growing producers are not very eager to sell cabbage. This season crop of cabbage was much lower so producers expect further increase in prices. At the moment one can observe high supply of imported cabbage but its prices are also growing. Last week it was 1.40 PLN (0.35 euro)/kg.
