Wild strawberries are already purchased

In Podkarpackie province processing plants started purchasing of wild strawberries. Price of fruit delivered to plant was 2.31 EUR/kg. Wild strawberries are used for production of fruit mixes and food flavours intended for e.g. yoghurts and ice creams.

Last year purchasing of wild strawberries started in third decade of June at price of 2.62 EUR/kg and lasted till half of September. The highest purchase prices were noted in August (3.19 – 3.34 EUR/kg).
