Will price of watermelons increase?

On Thursday, July 24th price of watermelons on the market in Bronisze was lower than 0.31 EUR/kg. Price of the cheapest watermelons from Hungary was 0.23 EUR/kg and price of the most expensive ones from Italy - 0.28 EUR/kg.

However price of watermelons can increase. One can observe the increasing demand for watermelons, moreover in next weeks less Hungarian watermelons can be delivered as a result of a rainy weather in this country. Watermelons is also becoming more expensive in different countries. In Netherlands Thursday prices of these fruits imported from Spain ranged from 0.45 up to 0.60 EUR/kg and were higher by 0.10 euro/kg than still on Tuesday.
