Very cheap cauliflowers

Situation on the cauliflower market isn't good for producers. Very good and warm weather caused is a reason of high volume of vegetables on the market.

Supply is much higher than demand and it forces producers to cut prices. Currently thay are two times lower than year ago.

Such situation concerns Polish market and other countries. In Poland wholesale price of French cauliflowers is at the level of 3.00 - 4.00 PLN/ piece, depending on size and quality. Spanish vegetables are more expensive and cost 5.00 PLN/ piece.

In Holland prices are lower. French cauliflowers cost 5.00 EUR / 6 or 8 pieces and Spanish ones (foiled) cost 9.00 EUR/ 6 or 8 pieces.

German market offers French cauliflowers at price of 8.00 - 9.00 EUR/ 6 pieces (big), Spanish at 8.00 - 9.00 EUR / 6 pieces and Italian at 6.50 - 7.50 EUR / 6 pieces.

Prices of cauliflowers at Spanish auctions remain low as last week - 0.20 - 0.69 EUR/kg, depending on size and quality.
