Apples are going down

In the area of Grójec purchase price of apples of Paula Red variety (1st class, size 70 mm) bought by trading companies is about 0.21 EUR/kg and prices of the same variety (size 60 mm) is 0.18 EUR/kg.

In podlaskie province purchase price of Paula Red (size 70) is 0.30 EUR/kg. Purchase prices of apples are still decreasing and forecast apples harvests (2.4-2.5 million ton) can resulted in low profitability of apples production this year.
