Aubergine getting cheaper

Does anyone remember that in December aubergine from Spain cost PLN 16.00 / kg on the wholesale market? Now prices are going down.

First price drop was in January when they decreased from PLN 16.00 to PLN 8.00 / kg.

Currently they are even lower. At the end of March the price of aubergine was at the level of PLN 6.00 - 6.50 / kg. April brought prices of PLN 5.00 / kg. It was obvious that it's not end becasue in Spain prices were dropping significantly.

It caused that now we can buy aubergine at the price of PLN 2.50 / kg. The maximum prices comes to PLN 3.00 - 3.10 / kg (decrease at 45 - 50%). Prices seem to be stable for some time.
