Berries of Ukraine Conference moves to Vinnytsia!

Last year’s edition was successfully held in Mykolaiv and gathered record high number of participants. For the year 2014, the organizers decided to hold the conference in another large berry region: Vinnytsia, the region, where largest berry farms are located and grow strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, currants and other berries.

By tradition, the conference will offer its participants a two-day program, and delegates will be able to visit a large berry farm on May 23.

The conference will focus on the following subjects:

• Ukrainian berry and cherry production and price forecast

• The global and European markets for fresh and frozen berries and cherries

• Imports' impact on the Ukrainian market, Ukraine's fresh and frozen berry and cherry export potential

• Berry and cherry growing in different climatic zones of Ukraine (open and protected production)

• Production of everbearing berries in Ukraine

• Investments in the berry business, most attractive positions

• Deep freezing of berries and cherries in Ukraine. Current market situation and outlook

• Modern technologies of berry and cherry production, handling, packaging and processing in Ukraine

• Key sales channels for fresh and frozen berries and cherries in Ukraine: retail, wholesale markets, exports etc.

The conference audience: berry and cherry growers (more than 50%), processing enterprises, representatives of wholesale and retail trade, suppliers of inputs and equipment, plants, agrichemistry etc.

The organizers plan the conference to involve about 200 delegates from 8-10 countries of the world.
