Bunched carrots already in purchasing centres

Prices of carrots of previous season have increased these week in comparison with last week. In Małopolska region some purchasing centres are paying 0.71 EUR/kg and in the area of Białystok 0.63 EUR/kg.

At the same time purchasing centres are buying early bunched carrots. In Małopolska region price is 0.56 EUR and in the area of Krosno prices are at level of 0.42 – 0.50 EUR. Prices of early carrots (packed in 10 kg bags) imported from France and Italy are 0.68 – 0.71 EUR/kg. This year prices are higher in comparison with those of last year when average price was 0.40 EUR.
