Cauliflowers will remain expensive

The supply of cauliflowers is still low. Heavy rains at the beginning of last week again adversely influenced vegetation of these vegetable. The sitaution in the south of Poland is the worst and again part of fields were under water there.  
So one cannot expect bigger crop of cauliflowers and prices probably will remain at present level. On Friday, July 30 price of small cauliflowers was around 3.00 PLN (0.75 €)/pcs. The price of bigger, good quality cauliflowers was 3.50-3.90 PLN (0.87-0.97 €)/pcs. Only in lubelskie province the supply of cauliflowers is bigger and prices are lower there – around 2.50 PLN (0.62 €)/pcs.
