Celery roots: prices higher than in 2007

In podlaskie province purchase price of celery roots are higher by about 0.09 - 0.12 EUR/kg than in 2007. At present price of celery roots is 0.81 EUR/kg for celeries size 9 - 11 cm, packed in mesh bags of 10 kg.

Last week purchase prices rose by about 0.03 EUR/kg. Last season large amounts of celery roots were imported because of smaller supply of domestic celeries and their poor quality.
