Chinese cabbage - it is getting better

Each year in Autum Chinese cabbage is cheap and there are not many purchasers interested in this vegetable. It is a difficult and stressful time for producers. It is known that prices will rise but nobody knows when and how much.

Currently Chinese cabbage is cheap but not as much as year ago when purchase price started from 0.40 PLN/kg. Now it is from 0.60 to 0.80 PLN/ kg. Selling price is mostly at the level of 1.00 - 1.20 PLN/kg. Of course, quality and weight are very important but generally there is less of Chinese cabbage than last year.

Last week prices slightly increased but mainly in Mazowieckie and małoposlkie voivodeships. Changes in prices were at the level of 0.10 PLN/kg. Not much and it seems to remain like this. Producers are waitining for better time, good as two years ago.
