Decline in prices of strawberries

Processing plants purchased most of planned quantity of strawberries. Prices have been quite high this season and buyers of deep-frozen strawberries do not accept such high prices. In order not to keep too much stock in cold stores processing plants decided to decrease purchase prices of strawberries.

During last week prices of strawberries delivered to the plant went down from 0,86 – 0,95 to 0,77 – 0,86 EUR/kg in Kujawsko-Pomorskie province, from 0,89 – 0,91 to 0,74 EUR/kg in Lubelskie province and from 0,89 – 0,94 to 0,74 – 0,77 EUR/kg in Świętokrzyskie province.
