Decrease in export of fresh vegetables

The latest data concerning the Polish export shows that in August of this year the sale of fresh vegetables lowered by 30 percent compared with August of 2007.

This year in August the export of fresh vegetables amounted to 31.5 thousand t and its value was 15.5 million euro, while in the corresponding period of 2007 the export amounted to 44.3 thousand t and value 22.1 million euro. The export of carrot, onion and cabbages lowered the most and amounted appropriately to 600 ton, 4.3 thousand ton and 1.4 thousand ton.
