Decreasing demand for Chinese cabbage

At the same time as there was a bit of Chinese cabbage on the market, especially such good enough for export, the demand was really high. Russians ware buying cabbage even at quite high prices. Then the price of early Chinese cabbage was purchased at minimum price 2.00 PLN/kg.

Currently the supply is rising. As we have already informed the crops of Chinese cabbage and thanks to rain there is more and more cabbage. It’ s that cabbage is also cheaper. Purchase prices dropped to the level of 1.00 – 1.20 PLN/ kg. Selling prices (with box) are at the level of 1.60 PLN/ kg. Unfortunately Russians are less interested in this vegetable now. As the result, producers have problems to find clients.

Currently the prices remains stable and is 1.00 PLN/kg. However if the demand won’t increase the price may change.
