Decreasing supply of Chinese cabbage - strong competition between trading companies

Price of Chinese cabbage of the best quality intended for export increased to 2.50 PLN (0.64 €)/kg (including packaging). The supply of good quality cabbage goes down what results in a continuous price increase. Strong demand together with decreasing supply causes bigger price competition between trading companies which purchase Chinese cabbage. On Friday, March 26 the producers had no problem with selling the Chinese cabbage at price 1.70 PLN (0.44 €)/kg. Some companies paid even 1.90 PLN (0.49 €)/kg.
