Demand for export apples is falling

Nowadays Russians import apples from Moldova and Serbia. Unfortunately for Polish producers such situation might remain till November when there will be no supply from those countries and only then Russian importers will come back to our market.
Despite the decreasing demand for apple of summer varieties, so far the prices remain the same as at the beginning of the week. Currently the purchasing prices of Paulared, Delikates and Celeste are from 0.70 to 0.80 PLN (0.17 to 0.19 euro) / kg for 60 +/ 65 + caliber and from 0.90 to 1.10 PLN (0.21 to 0.26 euro)/kg for 70 + caliber.
