Domestic tomatoes are getting cheaper

Just before Easter prices of Polish tomatoes from glasshouses were very high, even at the level of 60.00 PLN for 6 kg carton. Currently they are decreasing gradually. Lower prices come out of higher supply and relatively low demand. Domestic tomatoes in size B cost even 32 PLN/ 6 kg carton and BB – 35.00 PLN/ 6 kg carton.

There are not many tomatoes from domestic glasshouses on the market, however the supply is still increasing. After Easter the supply should rise much more.
