Dutch onion better for peeling

Food processing industry thinks that Polish onion is of poorer quality this year, particularly as regards the size.

The summer drought caused that onion was small. Onion for peeling should have the diameter above 6 cm. In such situation processing plants buy some quantities of well formed onion from the Netherlands. Selling prices of Polish peeled onion didn't change for the last week and they range from 0.194 up to 0.22 euro/kg.
