Export of cherries to the eastern countries

Export of cherries to the eastern countries has started. Demand on the part of these recipients is high. In the surrounding of Grójec purchase prices of cherries intended for eastern markets are about 1.49 – 1.64 EUR/kg for fruits of medium late varieties and size 22 mm.

Supply of cherries is not stable and depends on region of Poland. In many orchards there were a great fall of undeveloped fruit, but nevertheless crops will exceed the record low last year's crops.
