Export of Polish horticulture products

In first quarter of 2008 export of Polish horticulture products to EU amounted to 427.8 thousand ton, including 60.5 thousand ton of fresh fruit, 127.4 thousand ton of fresh vegetables, 114.5 thousand ton of processed fruit and 125.4 thousand of processed vegetables.

At the same time Poland imported from EU 160.6 thousand ton of fresh fruit, 102.6 thousand ton of fresh vegetables, 27.2 thousand ton of processed fruit and 40.4 thousand ton of processed vegetables. The total value of export amounted to 411.0 million euro and value of import amounted to 278.2 million euro.
