First reactions of fruit growers to the agreement on prices of apples for processing

Disappointment. This way most briefly one can describe reactions of apples producers to the news, that The Association of Polish Fruit - Growers and representatives of a few processing plants agreed on purchase price of apples for processing at the level of 0,28 zł/kg (about 0.082 EUR/kg).

Many fruit growers think that it is too low price, especially taking into consideration the price in purchasing centres will be lower by few cents. Moreover fruit growers are disappointed that only a few processing plants signed an agreement. Fruit growers are wondering what strategy will be chosen by others. Some fruit growers have already started thinking about change of the scope of production.
