Germany the biggest recipient of Polish frozen vegetables

In 2008 the total export of frozen vegetables amounted to 337 thousand t, i.e. almost 10 % more than in 2007.

Germany is the biggest recipient of Polish frozen vegetables and in 2008 import to this country amounted 82 thousand at value 45.4 million euro. It was 25 % of the total frozen vegetables exported from Poland. However as compared to previous years the share of Germany in the total export of frozen vegetables from Poland is decreasing and shares of Russia, Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Lithuania are increasing.
