Glasshouse cucumbers are getting cheaper

It can be said that the situation on the cucumber market was "stable" recently. Prices of domestic and Spanish vegetables were dropping every day.

The price drop of imported ones was caused by very low prices of Polish cucumbers. In Spain the situation has stabilized. At the beginning of March cucumbers were offered at price of 0.20 - 0.45 EUR/kg. Currently it is 0.23 - 0.40 EUR/kg.

In Poland cucumbers from Spain cost 6.00 PLN/kg (at the beginning of March). Now they cost only 4.40 - 5.50 PLN/kg.

Importers were forced to decrease prices because of low prices of domestic vegetables.

This is why imported cucumbers are still available on the Polish market. The question is - how long?
