Golden Delicious going well

Cheap Polish apples are an alternative for a bit poorer Russians (due to unfavourable exchange rate of Rouble). The situation on the Golden Delicious market confirms that. Normally, producers have huge problems with sale in March but this season is much different.

It seems that Golden Delicious apples from Western Europe are currently too expensive for customers from the East. It's a very good information for producers who can stay calm. They can be sure they will sell fruit provided taht price will be acceptable for them.

The price is most important factor of such high demand and any increases can't be expected. Currently producers can get max. PLN 1.30 - 1.40 / kg for Golden Delicious in size 70+ (CA) and PLN 1.20 -1.30 / kg in size 65+. Mutsu is a bit more expensive and cost PLN 1.40 - 1.60 / kg (size 70+).
