Heavy crops of strawberries

There is heavy crops of strawberries now. Processing plants do not complain about lack of ‘Senga Sengana’. Following the increasing supply of strawberries prices go down.

At the beginning of last week in Kujawsko – Pomorskie province prices of strawberries delivered to the plant were 0,89 – 0,98 EUR/kg and in the end of last week were 0,86 – 0,92 EUR/kg. In Lubelskie province prices went down from the same level at the beginning of last week to 0,86 – 0,89 EUR/kg (delivered to the plant) in the end of week.

In Łódzkie province price level decreased from 0,98 – 1 EUR/kg to 0,85 EUR/kg (delivered to the plant). The plants are afraid that high prices of deep-frozen strawberries will not allow for quick sale.
