Higher price of Savoy cabbage in małoposkie province

There is a big demand for this cabbage on the local wholesale market. Due to low amount of cabbage price is increasing. Last week the purchase price of Savoy cabbage came to 0.70 -0.75 PLN/ kg. Currently it is 0.80 PLN/kg. Some companies in małopolskie province buy Savoy cabbage in other regions, mainly in świętokrzyskie and łódzkie provinces, in order to top up the supply. Higher demand in małopolskie province resulted from bigger export to Czech and Romania. The demand has remained high for few weeks. It is possible that the purchase price of Savoy cabbage in małopolskie province will be even higher.
